I just received a copy of the second edition of Textbook of Psychoanalysis edited by Gabbard, Litowitz and Williams. I deeply regret to base my previous view regarding the lack of textbooks of psychoanalysis on an old impression and a wrong one of the first edition. Th second edition is of great volume and should have its place in the training of candidates. 

        My apologies and regrets. The Textbook of Psychoanalysis-second edition- is a particularly important addition to literature.
